  • Later in life degree

I am thinking of studying for a degree despite being in full time employment for a number of years. Do employers still recognize later in life degrees or are they more in favour of degrees gained straight from school/college?

i dont think employers will be too bothered about when you got your degree as long as you have a degree! I know few people from uni that were much older and graduated the same time as me and are now working for great companies!

It depends what you want the degree for.

1.If it is for a challenge you have always wanted - go for it

2.If it is for a change of career and you need a degree e.g. medicine - go for it

Otherwise your work experience and work achievements I believe are more important for your future
